Marquee Landscapes utilizes industry best practices to minimize harmful environmental effects caused by over salting. To minimize the potential impact to ground water, we apply pre-treated salt with liquid de-icer and/or organic de-icers that make it more effective and environmentally friendly.

ABOUT US

At Marquee Landscapes we work with you to create a snow removal and ice management plan tailored to your site long before there are any signs of snow. At a high level, we start by locating all curbs, fire hydrants and other hazards that may not be visible after a snowfall by placing highly reflective durable stakes wherever necessary. This not only helps the team members guide equipment through the site to do a thorough plow but also protects your assets.

We monitor the weather 24/7 utilizing Environment Canada and their meteorological data, keep you informed of changes and standby with the necessary equipment and manpower so that we can handle all that Mother Nature delivers.
The majority of staff is based within 10 kms of our 24/7 Operations Center for quicker response time.
We patrol all of our sites nightly to address ice patches or snap freezes as they happen. Each vehicle is then equipped with a detailed sitemap to ensure all walkways, parking lots and access points are cleared and snow is piled in the correct locations.

All of our equipment is no more than 4 years old and is maintained by our in-house mechanic.
Breakdowns during major storms are mitigated by our standy-by mechanic and replacement rental equipment on stand-by.
We have multiple strategically located salt stockpile locations as well as multiple preferred vendors to prevent shortages. Our operations centre monitors the location of each snow vehicle in real time via GPS to ensure we are at your site when you need us most!

Safety & Liability

All team members are insured under WSIB and go through a rigorous training program before commencing work on your property. Additionally, all team members are outfitted with Personal Protective Equipment. Marquee Landscapes is constantly educating team members to ensure we always maintain a safe working environment.
